1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using palmistry.lol ("the Service") you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Who can use the Service

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By uploading a photo or otherwise using palmistry.lol, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that any photograph you upload is of your own hand (or, where applicable, you have explicit permission from the person whose hand appears in the photograph).

3. For entertainment only

Palmistry is a centuries-old interpretive tradition, not a science. Every reading produced by the Service is intended for entertainment, cultural exploration, and personal curiosity. Readings are not predictions of the future. They are not medical, psychological, financial, legal, or professional advice of any kind. You should not act on a reading without consulting the appropriate qualified professional for whatever real-world decision you are facing.

4. Your uploaded photographs

When you upload a photograph of your palm to receive a reading, you grant palmistry.lol a limited license to process that photograph using computer vision and large language models for the sole purpose of generating your reading and the associated stylized line traces displayed alongside it.

We retain the photograph for up to 30 days for abuse correlation, after which it is deleted. We do not sell, license, or distribute your photographs to any third party. See our Privacy Policy for full detail.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to upload content that is illegal, harmful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that depicts a person who has not consented to having their hand photographed and analyzed. You agree not to attempt to disrupt the Service, reverse-engineer its inner workings beyond what is reasonable for normal use, or use the Service to harm others.

We reserve the right to block any IP address, user, or upload that violates these terms or our Content Policy.

6. Intellectual property

The site design, the trait library, the editorial essays, the stylized illustrations, and the source code of the Service are owned by palmistry.lol. The readings produced for your palm — the prose, the line traces, the rarity assessments — are generated for you. You are free to screenshot, share, or republish your own reading. You may not scrape the Service en masse or train a competing model on our outputs.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make no guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors. We make no guarantee about the accuracy, completeness, or interpretive soundness of any reading — palmistry is, again, an interpretive tradition, not a science.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, palmistry.lol shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you have paid us in the past twelve months — which, for most users, is zero, because the Service is free.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
